patrick & rachel had a very romantic beginning… they are both from durango & both went to medical school, but never really spent time together until they happened to cross paths one new years eve night. that night, at a famous durango dive, they shared their first kiss & rang in the new year together! the story that they tell is that the next morning at breakfast patrick told everyone around the breakfast table that he met the woman that he was going to marry! he also added that she was a hot-nerd… a sentiment that makes rachel giggle when they recite the story of their beginning! they make a great match… i love how they compliment one another!
rachel is sweet, calm, & witty… patrick is hilarious, kind, & looks forward to being a stay-at-home dad one day… once they both finish their residencies, of course! i secretly hope they’ll move back to durango one day so i can be best friends with them! they had a beautiful wedding at the glacier club in early june & didn’t even mind when the smoke rolled in from the arizona fires to give a white glow to everything outside.
