so i entered a contest for an amazing organization that i can totally get behind! it’s called star shooter which provides photo therapy to children! (have you seen ‘born into brothels’? same idea-so amazing!!!) our entry fee goes to the organization and is worth every penny! we had to name our images, which i never do, and there were no real stipulations so it was so hard to choose! here are my entries…

baby girl sydney was just about two-weeks-old when we got a chance to photograph her in dallas. she was the sweetest, sleepy little bundle! i love it when a baby models and then sleeps! thanks little lady & family for our time together!

i’m back from a super busy two weeks! i went to dallas, denver, and beaver creek for a lot of amazing new experiences and made more new friends than i can count on my fingers & toes! so i’m working to edit and post all of my adventures…hope to show some of them off by tomorrow!
and since i always love to leave you with a photo, here is what happens to the purse of a photographer that is too busy in the wedding season: a two-day-old, half-eaten cheeseburger, a can of hairspray, a bible, & a day planner…

i am so excited about all of the new products and services that i’m getting to offer! and now you can get excited too because i’m going to tell you all about them:
-there is now a “proofing” section on the site where all 2009 clients can view your session or event photos and order products in your own private gallery. don’t forget that you can share the site with all those grandparents, aunts, uncles, and far away friends! current clients should have gotten an email from me this week with your gallery info.
-updated galleries on my website
-my awesome new info site is live! i’m excited about what a great new resource this site is for clients! there you’ll find out specifics about registry, pricing lists, and product information. it can be accessed through the website by choosing “info” on the home page. email me for the password.
-gift certificates and registry are now available! you can check them out here, or on the info site!
-get ‘em while they’re hot: and of course i didn’t forget about mini-sessions! a mini-session is a shorter version of a regular session. approximately 30 minutes in one location with a limited number of slots! the next mini-session date is sunday 8/23 starting at 3pm! four slots will be available. for more info go to the info site! or email me!
now, i’m off to a photographers FOCUS group in dallas to shoot, learn, discuss, teach, and eat sprinkles cupcakes!

so, my blog needs a v8 i think because its sort of…off! i mean i’m in the middle of updating it to this sleek new design and bam, crooked! i’m just wanting to share with you that in my life, photographer equal tech-guru! however, said tech guru is being summoned to v8 my blog asap! i don’t mind it too terribly, maybe the lack of use of capital letters has somehow angered the tech leaders and they’re staging a stand off with my blog until i start using them.
hmm…OK, PLEASE V8 MY BLOG AND LET’S GET BACK TO BUSINESS PLEASE! there, that’s more caps than i’ve used in a year! well, i’m going to bed so let’s hope we get all straightened out tomorrow because i’m almost completely done with all my cool new updates before i go to my super wonderful photog gathering in dallas!
