jenn and kenny - we would like to nominate erin and josh umbaugh. this durango couple just found out they were pregnant. again, actually. they have had an extremely difficult time and have lost a baby before. we have never meet a more loving, and generous couple. josh recently lost his job with the current downturn in the economy and has done everything to stay off of unemployment. he could receive full benefits, however has taken some of the most unforgiving jobs this town has to offer to continue to provide for his wife and soon to be baby. thats just the hard working ethic they both have. erin has worked day in and out for multiple local companies and still finds the time to care for friends and neighbors in need. both of their families are in the midwest and have also suffered from the economy and the downturn. pictures is going to be the only way most of them will get to see this new bundle of joy. they deserve this because they are truly an amazing couple, they are full of love and can always laugh no matter what cards they are dealt. they deserve so much happiness and I know your pictures could do that for them!

hi friends & clients! i’m still here! i’ve been catching up all week with work, home, friends, family & finishing my samples site! and, it’s done! D-O-N-E, done! clients can email me for the password & a username! i’m so excited about all of the cards i have to offer-i HEART mail!!! so, just to get you interested here are two brand spankin’ new ones! get ‘em while they’re hot…….

and as a little bonus, i’m extending the deadlines since i was out-of-town for 2 weeks!!! you keep asking me if it’s too late…it’s not! order cards by 3pm 12/11 & have photos taken by 12/8 to get regular pricing! remember that it can take up to a week to finalize a designed card & that’s after your images have been fully edited so, don’t procrastinate!

ello. hallo. bonjour. :durango, co photographer in europe:

i’m back…so happy to be home and getting caught up on life here in the mountains! i should be as good as new in a few days after i’ve caught up on sleep, laundry, emails, calls, edited half of the awesome wedding that i photographed in england, and gotten together with friends that i’ve missed for the last several weeks. i’m a little short on time to blog until i’ve had a chance to get back to everyone via every form of technology (if you’re awaiting a response of some form from me i p-r-o-m-i-s-e to get back to you in the next 24 hours) & a lot behind on blogging, so for now i’ll leave you with a little wink of my favorites from the trip…more later…promise…

hello all! or should i say, see ya later! i’m leaving for europe & i can’t wait! i’m going to work & play-super excited about both! i’ll be gone for a few weeks, but someone special will be in my “office” so if you need something that cannot wait please email me at: jan@janschillphotography.com and when i can get to the computer i’ll write you back! when i return i’m sure i’ll have oodles of fun family adventure photos, an amazing wedding in the english lake district, a session in germany-yes, i have a session while i’m there, and lots of other rad stuff to show you! i’ll also be completely updating my site and i’ll start ordering those awesome christmas cards that all of you have been so excited about! happy next couple of weeks! i promise to blog if i can while i’m “on holiday” with my amazing family…so come back soon ya’ll, ya hear!!!
