although i’m enjoying some fabulous time off with my family, i got out my gear for a session with this little guy! i love my time off, but i treasure that fleeting time new parents have with their new little bundles, so i make an exception for them. i treasure these sessions, our children grow up too fast!

on our last family trip to denver i had the chance to photograph sweet baby hudson when he was just about one-week-old. andrew went to law school with ~~ken & barbie~~, jen & heath… we have always loved them & we always try to see them when we’re in the front range! jen is gorgeous and even sweeter than she is tall… and this barbie is seriously 6ft tall! love her! i’ve known heath just about as long as i’ve know andrew… heath is a very sweet guy! we were so happy when they started dating… they make a perfect, shiny match! i cannot wait to watch them raise this precious bundle!

heath painted all of the art in hudsons room… what a sweet daddy!

please help me welcome sweet, new bundle, lillian! i was thrilled when i got a chance to take a road trip down to the santa fe, new mexico area & meet this little girl! i have a huge love for newborns & travel & my real-life sessions… this family made my day! i met her parents, beth & chad, at patrick & rachel’s wedding in june, which you can see again HERE! it was a really fun wedding & i have been looking forward to photographing this baby girl since i saw beth’s cute belly in june! miss lillian decided to make an early, surprise appearance just after the fires near santa fe stopped… she sure was a doll to hold off for the fires though, huh! lillian was lovely & calm… she is a new mom’s dream baby! beth & chad gave me a lot of room to work so that i could get their real-life in the real way that i love to work… this is why i love what i do! how cute is this family… and that darling nursery…chad. beth. lillian. – thank you for a wonderful afternoon! your sweet family reminded me of how much i really treasure getting to do what i love to do! i love your real life! blessings, js

i feel really lucky to be a part of families & watch them grow! after getting to spend some time at a real life maternity session with lisa, matt, aidan, & archer i waited patiently to find out of they would be getting a baby boy or a baby girl… i was thrilled when i found out that a girl arrived! the second set of twin boys to get a baby sister this month… so exciting! avery will be a busy little girl & a perfect addition to this sweet family…

precious miss mckenzie is a gorgeous bundle! i am so excited that nicole will have a partner in crime to help balance out mckenzie’s twin brothers, keegan & noah, and her curly-haired big brother luca! her life will surely be filled of playful noises & dancing & flying across the pond to visit her daddy’s family! james will absolutely call her darling in his charming british accent, & nicole will dress her exclusively in pink… i cannot wait to watch her little life unfold! i love her real life… it is full of so much love…
